The Chef K9 Story
Chef K9 is Fort Wayne’s own premium dog food company, using only healthy, human-grade ingredients. Founded by a devoted dog mom inspired by her four pups—Bessie, Dolly, Beau, and Baby—Chef K9 began as a personal mission to feed dogs real food without the factory-made fillers or high prices.
After years of trial and error with kibble and store-bought alternatives, she realized that truly nutritious dog food was either disappointing or unaffordable. So she started cooking it herself—right in her kitchen. With 18 months of testing and refining recipes, Chef K9 now offers fresh, wholesome meals made with love, for dogs who deserve better—at a price their humans can actually afford.
