From Our
Kitchen To Their Bowl

Once I stumbled upon these documentaries, books, and podcast series, I was totally blown away because I had no idea! For decades, we’ve all been told the bags of dog food on the shelf are what dogs should be eating, and I never questioned it.

Once I found out the truth, I was furious, and I was adamant that my dogs wouldn’t eat those products again. I attempted to buy from a popular online company that marketed themselves as human-grade, but when the bill came due I was blown away. Like many people, I couldn’t afford it.

I was so upset because there were no options out there that I could find that were good food but reasonably priced. The only option I had was to start cooking the food myself.

There’s a lot more to canine nutrition than throwing together some meat and veggies. I didn’t want to go into this uninformed and risk my dogs ending up with nutrient deficiencies. I began online courses on the topic and reading texts from the Fort Wayne Library, learning as much as I could.

I am always still learning and soaking up what’s out there from reputable sources.

I wanted to make this my life’s work. The more I learn and hear from my customers about the changes in their dogs' health, the more I am reaffirmed that this is exactly what I was born to do.

I love dogs more than humans, my four dogs are my babies. To know that so many are out there eating every day, every meal, the very thing that is making them sick and shortening their precious lifespan, it lights a fire in me.

I wish I could feed every dog this way. Chef K9 is my best effort to do exactly that.

From our kitchen to their bowl, that is what Chef K9 is all about. 🧡
